Tis the Season for Holiday Events in McKinney TX

Holiday events are crowding the calendar in McKinney. Here’s a sampling of things to see and do in upcoming weeks:

A Christmas Carol – McKinney Repertory Theatre, Nov. 26 – Dec. 5. Visit www.mckinneyperformingartscenter.org for show times and ticket information.

Holiday Tour of Homes – The 37th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes showcases both historic and history-making homes in McKinney. This year’s tour will include five residences in McKinney’s Historic District and Adriatica, the United Methodist Church, and the Johnson House, Dulaney House and Faires House at Chestnut Square Historic Village. Sat., Dec. 4, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Sun., Dec. 5, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. $15 in advance at chestnutsquare.org or by calling 972-562-8790; $20 at the door.

Breakfast with Santa, Sat., Dec. 11, 9:30-11:00 a.m., McKinney Community Center

Holiday Carriage Rides – Take a Holiday Lights Carriage Tour of downtown McKinney’s beautiful Historic District. Dec. 1-31. $85 for 30 minutes; $160 for 60 minutes. Reservations required. Call (214-662-6705 or visit http://www.happytrailscarriage.com/.
